Google Motorola Acquisition by the Numbers
Just about everybody still is trying to figure out what the Google acquisition of Motorola Mobility might mean. Coming within about a week of that event, Hewlett Packard Co. says it is getting out of the PC business, and shutting down its production and sale of WebOS smart phones and tablets. Both events will have implications for the mobility, and the only question is which move will have the bigger impact. Most of us are probably voting for the Motorola Mobility deal.
Gary Kim was cited as a global "Power Mobile Influencer" by Forbes, ranked second in the world for coverage of the mobile business, and as a "top 10" telecom analyst. He is a member of Mensa, the international organization for people with IQs in the top two percent.
