Outages in the Internet ecosystem are a fact of life. But a high-profile outage doesn't help. Verizon Terremark, which is providing services to Healthcare.com, failed on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, one of many technology failures with the website supposedly allowing consumers to comparison shop and buy health insurance.
