Mojiva, the mobile advertising network, is launching Mojiva Tab, an ad network aimed at inventory that will only be delivered on tablets. The expectation is that Mojiva Tab will gain in the market by focusing exclusively on the tablet format, with dedicated resources and staff, rather than supporting both smart phone and tablet campaigns from one set of resources.
Some will see that as a significant and warranted change. Marketing specialists often note that the form factor and authoring requirements of tablets are substantially different from desktop PC and smart phone platforms.
