Social Media Role in Buying is Growing

The purchasing decisions of 38 million Americans aged 13 to 80 are now influenced in various ways by social media,  up 14 percent in six months, according to social media firm Hasai.

About 28 percent of U.S. adults said they give advice about purchases on social networking sites.
